UPDATE: A source tells Access Hollywood that Lindsay Lohan did land the starring role in Lifetime's Elizabeth Taylor movie, which will be called Liz and Dick. All she has to do is continue fulfilling her court obligations. You can do it, LiLo!
Is a Lindsay Lohan comeback on the horizon? The scandal-ridden actress is reportedly in talks to play Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime original movie. The TV movie, Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story, will follow Elizabeth Taylor’s rocky romance with fellow actor Richard Burton.
Since Lindsay hasn’t been in a movie since 2010’s Machete, we’re really hope that this new role will work out for her. She’s been doing so well lately — avoiding parties, fulfilling her court obligations, and even covering a magazine (never mind that it was Playboy). It’s not another Mean Girls, but it’s a good start!
