M. Night Shyamalan Brings Proof to Syfy: New TV Show Alert
We see new pilots. They’re everywhere...
M. Night Shyamalan is heading into the world of scripted TV for the first time with a show called Proof. Syfy is interested in the project, which would be directed by The Sixth Sense helmer and co-written/executive produced by Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Marti Noxon
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Proof is about “the son of a billionaire tech genius who, following an accident that claims his parents' lives, offers a large reward for anyone who can find proof of life after death.”
Deep stuff! No word on when the show will start taping or air on Syfy.
M. just finished shooting After Earth with Will and Jaden Smith. In case you're worried about watching something else from the guy who also gave us The Village, The Happening and The Last Airbender, his co-writer, Marti, has TV credits including Mad Men, Glee and Grey's Anatomy.
