Mandy Moore keeps it classy in black at the Marchesa Spring 2012 show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
Have you been missing Mandy Moore like candy? Ever since she married singer Ryan Adams in 2009, the pop singer has been keeping it pretty low key, doing voiceover work for Tangled and occasionally popping up on TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy. Someone must like seeing her on the small screen, because according to The Hollywood Reporter ABC has picked up a comedy pilot starring former pop idol.
Moore’s character, Annie, is a newlywed operating a restaurant in her hometown and struggling to balance her overbearing family with her close-knit group of friends. Sounds a lot like the TV version of Home for the Holidaysl. We’re already picturing a Thanksgiving episode where Annie has to decide which group she should eat turkey with, only to end up with everyone crammed inside the restaurant, where Uncle Jake has to make small talk with the couple’s kooky pal Chester. You can see it too, right?
Mandy was pretty hilarious in Saved!, so we’ll definitely check this one out. The sitcom’s still untitled, so we’d like to throw out a suggestion: Moore to Love!
