Mary-Kate Olsen's Dad Hates Her New 43-Year-Old French Boyfriend!
What would Danny Tanner do? Well, we're not sure how Mary-Kate Olsen's TV dad would feel about the sitation, but her real-life father is furious that she's dating 43-year-old French banker Olivier Sarkozy. In other words, you can be a multi-millionaire entrepreneur and fashion mogul, and yet you can still have a tough time pleasing your parents.
According to Perez Hilton, Mary-Kate's dad feels strongly that Olivier is wrong for her. He apparently doesn't like the fact that Olivier is so much older, since dating much-older guys is not something that Mary-Kate has really done before.
Mary-Kate's father also doesn't trust Olivier's true intentions, worried that Olivier will break the former Full House star's heart. He believes that Olivier has been "targeting younger women," given that Olivier has also recently dated 29-year-old actress Stella Schnabel. Oliver is the half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy.
Everything is so much easier on a sitcom, isn't it?
