We all know that Miley Cyrus is not a little girl any more.

Forget Disney and Hannah Montana. These days, Miley stays busy getting tattoos, posing suggestively with phallic cakes, and joking with friends that she smokes "way too much f***in' weed."

But is she just being Miley, or is her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth partly to blame? While the former Disney darling has been stirring up minor controversy for a while now, the stories about her have been taking a turn for the raunchy of late.

According to Star magazine (via Hollywood Life), Miley’s friends think Liam is the reason she’s been acting all cray-cray. “He’s bossy and controlling, and it’s just understood that Miley always pays for them,” Star’s source reveals. “Her pals all think he’s just a dumb surfer and a pothead.”

The friends reportedly believe Miley’s 22-year-old beau — who’s set to star as Gale in this month’s highly anticipated Hunger Games film — is not helping her new stoner rap, and they’re fed up that she hasn’t kicked him to the curb.

“Everyone would breathe a big sigh of relief if she dumped Liam and moved on,” Star’s source says. Maybe they have a point: That infamous penis cake was a gift for Liam’s birthday, after all.
