Mindy McCready has been laid to rest.
The troubled country singer was remembered at her funeral in Florida on February 26, nine days after her tragic suicide at age 37, according to People.
Roughly 400 people came to pay their respects at the funeral, held in Mindy's hometown of Fort Myers, Florida.
Attendees were greeted with a handshake from Mindy's mother. White roses adorned the casket, and Mindy's songs were played as photos of her were displated on large video screens.
Mindy's stepfather played his guitar and sang during the ceremony, and Mindy's pallbearers included her three brothers and some cousins.
"Mindy adored her two children," Mindy's mom told the crowd tearfully. "She wanted them to know that. Through much agony and pain, she went to heaven."
"Please pray for those boys," her mom continued. "No matter what, she will always be my little girl, sitting in her car seat, singing into a hairbrush."
A second funeral service will be held in Nashville in early March for Mindy's professional associates.
We'll miss you, Mindy.
