Mischa Barton Is Wearing an Engagement Ring! Is She Engaged? (PHOTO)

Mischa Barton’s ring finger is sporting some extra bling these days.

The O.C. actress hit the streets of Dublin wearing a diamond-studded engagement ring.

But don’t be fooled. She and boyfriend Sebastian Knapp — whom she met at the wedding of Revenge’s Ashley Madekwe — are not engaged.

E! Online debunks the devious photo: the ring is just a prop from her play, an Irish production of Steel Magnolias. (Her character, Shelby — the role Julia Roberts made famous in the 1989 movie — is wed in the beginning of the story.)

Look at that coy smile, though, as she just happens raises her hand to touch her scarf at the same time the photographer snaps a pic. Uh-huh. Our money says this kind of publicity is just what Mischa was looking for.
