Modern Family Cast Cries Over Golden Globes Loss to Girls (PHOTO)

Modern Family is one of the most critically adored shows on the air right now, so the cast can probably live without one more award.

The ABC show is an Emmys darling and won last year's Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. But at last night's Golden Globes, Girls took home the comedy show win.

The cast mocked their sadness, with Sofia Vergara sharing this great tweet and photo:

Ha! It's so Gloria to be the one ready to kick ass while everyone else is in tears — except for Ed O'Neill's Jay, of course.
