Black Swan actress Natalie Portman swapped her tutu and pointe shoes for a gorgeous Christian Dior halter gown for her latest trip to the ballet.
On Thursday, May 10, the 30-year-old Oscar winner attended New York City Ballet's Spring Gala at the David H. Koch Theater in NYC's Lincoln Center. The leading lady brought along her cavalier, husband Benjamin Millepied, whom she met on the set of Black Swan in 2010.
The pair debuted their platinum wedding rings at the Academy Awards this past February, one year after the birth of their son Aleph.
The Gala is something of a homecoming for graceful couple — Benjamin got his start dancing on that very stage as a member of New York City Ballet in 1995, and the theater also served as the backdrop for Natalie's performance scenes in Black Swan.
All of that intense ballet training Natalie endured for her role as Nina Sayers must have paid off, because she looked fit and fabulous as she sashayed down the red carpet. One might even say she "turned it out."
