New Details on Johnny Lewis's Death

We recently reported about the tragic (and mysterious) death of 28-year-old Sons of Anarchy and The OC actor, Johnny Lewis. The evening is still being pieced together, but from what we know, Johnny might have beaten his landlady, 81-year-old Catherine Davis to death before fighting off two men and then either jumping from or falling off the roof.

If you can handle it, we’ve discovered a few new details about that evening. Us Weekly reports that Johnny might have been on a synthetic drugs called “Smiles” at the time of the accident. However, LAPD Commander Andrew Smith made it clear that nothing is for certain, saying, “"There are several new drugs that are coming out after bath salts got outlawed. We don't have any hard evidence that he was on anything."

Drugs aside, the young actor has now also been linked to Scientology. Us Weekly reports that Johnny was, at one point, a promoter of an anti-drug program that had been created by the Church of Scientology. It has also been discovered that both of Johnny’s parents were active Scientologists.
