New Girl Relationship Spoilers: "Something" Will "Go Down" Between Nick and Jess

If there's one thing that New Girl Season 1, Episode 22: "Tomatoes" taught us, it's that Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel) definitely have the passionate spark Jess craves in a relationship.

Now that the show's titular quirky gal is single again, is there a chance something will finally happen between her and the apartment's grumpiest roommate?

"There's a lot of Nick-Jess stuff at the end of the season," Jack Johnson recently dished to E!. "Something is going to go down."

Something...like a kiss? Or an acknowledgment of their clear feelings for each other? 

Heck, we'd even settle for a night of cuddling on the couch. We're just glad to hear that the New Girl Powers That Be aren't going to drag this will they-won't they relationship out for too long without at least a little "will" thrown in. 

The writers have already proved they can get a ton of hilarity out of resolved sexual tension with Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Cece (Hannah Simone), and we can't wait to see what they'll do with any sort of romantic Nick/Jess moment.
