Nick Carter Misses Sister's Funeral
Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, whose 25-year-old sister Leslie died last week of an apparent prescription drug overdose, did not attend her funeral Saturday in upstate New York. By way of explanation, Nick, who had a concert date that night in Atlantic City, issued a statement declaring that his family has always had a "complicated dynamic." (Meanwhile, TMZ says that no one told Nick about the funeral -- though sister Ginger Carter denies the report.) According to People, Leslie's other singing brother, Aaron Carter, was among those who spoke at the service, along with Leslie's widower, Mike Ashton, who described her love for their ten-month-old daughter, Alyssa.
