Nick Lachey Is Taking Baby on 98 Degrees Tour: "I'm Not Going to Spend 2.5 Months Away From My Son"

Nick Lachey's ex, Jessica Simpson, recently talked about how heartbreaking it is for her to be away from her daughter when she's shooting some episodes of Fashion Star. Nick has no plans to share that heartbreak.

Nick’s band, 98 Degrees, is heading out on tour and he's planning to take his 5-month-old son, Camden John, on the road. “Camden will be on tour for sure. I’m not going to spend 2½ months away from my son. That would be tragic,” Nick told People.

Also tragic would be not celebrating Valentine's Day with his wife, Vanessa — although they have to do things a bit differently now. “You obviously have to kind of rethink plans with the little one at home,” Nick said. “You still got to celebrate. You still got to take that moment to recognize each other. It all started with that — you don’t want to lose sight of it.”
