Somewhere Ron Swanson is shaking his head... and sucking down Scotch.

Startlingly blond, Nick Offerman (Ron) stepped out on May 21 for the 2012 Peabody Awards, where his sitcom Parks and Recreation took home an honor.

We assume this new look is for a role — perhaps as Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s chubbier twin?

Joking about Parks and Rec’s no-longer-uncertain future while at the event, Nick told E! Online, “I have résumés, just in case. I had to give them to Game of Thrones.” NBC announced last week that the comedy will return for a fifth season, and loyals fans everywhere cheered.

Hopefully Nick will be back to brown when Season 5 premieres this fall with Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) in office. (We so voted Knope.)
