Possible New Couple Katy Perry and John Mayer Continue Their Flirt-a-thon: Report
Katy Perry and John Mayer first sparked romance rumors last Wednesday, August 2, when they were photographed leaving Chateau Marmont together.
According to Life & Style, the musical twosome hit two Hollywood affairs over the weekend — a bash at agent Michael Kives’s apartment on Saturday and a pool party.
A fellow guest at the Saturday event tells the mag, “Katy and John never left each other’s side and were flirting and affectionate the entire time. Katy loved it!”
Katy has had her fun since splitting with husband Russell Brand in December 2011, dating male model Baptiste Giabiconi and Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.
“I’d say Katy’s more serious with John than she was with Robert,” reveals a source from the pool party. “Everyone knew they were coming together as a couple.”
John Mayer’s relationship history hasn’t exactly been a wonderland — the “Shadow Days” singer has a checkered reputation when it comes to his dating exploits and sexploits — so we’ll see how this goes.
