Rapper DMX Arrested For Driving Without License
Did DMX act a fool up in here?
The 42-year-old rapper has been arrested for allegedly driving without a license, according to Us Weekly.
Authorities say DMX was pulled over early on the morning of February 13 in South Carolina and was taken into custody. He saw a judge, paid a fine, and was later released.
"They watched me at the gas station and get in the car," DMX told a local news station. "They followed me around the corner, pulled me over, put the cuffs on me, and brought me here. I paid the money, when I could have just paid the money right there on the spot."
"Basically, it was just five hours wasted for nothing," he continues. "I don't have a court date or a court appearance."
Apparently, his 5-year-old daughter was in the car with him at the time.
This isn't the rapper's first run-in with the law, as he served a seven-month prison sentence in 2011 for violating his probation.
It sounds like he's giving new meaning to the term "Ruff Ryders" (which was the name of his rap crew).
