It sounds like actor Alec Baldwin, 54, and his yoga instructor fiancee, Hilaria Thomas, 28, did not actually get married in Europe after the Cannes Film Festival and are instead planning a New York City wedding for the weekend of June 30 at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral.

That's the scoop from the New York Post, which added that the church was also used for a baptism scene in The Godfather as well as in Mean Streets and Gangs of New York. All fitting associations for a wedding.

A source said of the wedding date and location, “This wasn’t a quick decision. It took a lot of planning." Couldn't have taken that much planning since they just got engaged in April. But congrats to the happy couple! Just a tip: If you're flying in for the wedding, don't start playing Words With Friends on the plane. We hear that can end badly.
