Rumors are circulating that Rihanna and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown are secretly hooking up — despite the fact that Chris is currently linked to model Karrueche Tran. Rihanna broke up with Chris after he brutally beat her after a 2009 Grammy party. At the time of the split, Rihanna told Diana Sawyer on Good Morning America, "The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other.”

Three years after the breakup, Rihanna and Chris are reportedly hooking up again, and Rihanna is terrified her career will be ruined if this salacious secret gets out. Sources tell Hollywood Life that Rihanna and Chris spent four hours alone together in a dressing room at the Staples Center, where they will both attend the 2012 Grammy Awards this Sunday. Last weekend, Rihanna and Chris were spotted leaving the same club — separately. “The times they have been in the same building at the clubs the last couple weeks were never a coincidence,” a source explains to Hollywood Life.

Rihanna’s friends, family, and management are reportedly adamantly against any reconciliation with Chris. An insider spills, “Rihanna’s people have said on a constant basis to her and she seems to understand that any type of video or picture of them together and happy would be very bad for her image.” The singer isn’t naïve about the damage it would do to her career if she and Chris do get back together, and she’s fearful of the consequences, sources say. “She is definitely torn. And most likely she will choose her career over Chris.”
