Whew! After tweeting a scary pic of an IV in her arm earlier this week, Rihanna was back on her feet and looking radiant last night at the premiere of her new film Battleship.

“I'm a lot better now...I had a couple days to rest and re-hydrated,” she told Billy Bush at last night’s premiere (via The Daily Mail). ‘I just had the flu and I kept working and I wasn't getting better so I took a couple days to sleep and I feel great.”

You know, normally when stars claim "exhaustion and dehydration," we’re pretty skeptical, but there was a pretty nasty flu going around this week, wasn’t there? We know more than a few people who would’ve been better off for a day or two cuddled up to an IV. 

In any case, a little R & R certainly paid off for Rihanna, who seemed determined to demonstrate that every part of her was looking great - she wore a white draped gown of her own design, which featured a slit so high it’s amazing she managed not to flash the entire press corps.
