Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson may have been spotted getting cozy over the weekend in L.A., but it seems like the honeymoon for the reunited couple will be a short-lived one.

Radar Online reports that the tenuous duo will be staying in separate hotel rooms during the promotional media tour for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. It’s definitely strange for a couple to sleep in separate beds, but the decision was reportedly not Robsten’s to make.

“Summit Entertainment isn’t taking any chances that the couple will have problems again and be forced to scramble at the last minute to book one of them a posh hotel suite,” a source said of the motion picture studio’s cautious decision.

In fact, in some cities Kristen will reportedly be staying in an entirely different hotel from the rest of the Twilight cast.

“Rob and Kristen are always professional, but the fact is she cheated on him, and this media tour needs to go off without a hitch,” said the insider.

Breakup or not, the two are contractually obligated to promote the film.

“The studio execs at Summit weren’t happen when Rob and Kristen broke up, but this is why there are clauses about what is required of the stars to do,” the source explained. “The promotional tours of the past Twilight movies are very much anticipated by the fans and almost becomes bigger than the movie.”

Let’s hope the separate living quarters will help and not harm Rob and Kristen’s reconciliation!
