Robert Pattinson may have moved on from Twilight to more adult fare, but that doesn’t mean he’s not gracious to the fan base that brought him his success. At a press conference in Portugal for his new film Cosmopolis, a dark, apocalyptic tale from director David Cronenberg, he gave a shout-out to his Twilight fans.

“I care about what everyone thinks. I know that many young girls will see the movie, and I hope everyone enjoys it,” he said, according to Hollywood Life.

Well, of course he cares. We can’t think of anything more amusing than sitting down with a bunch of pint-sized Twilight fans to watch a David Cronenberg nightmare.
