Russell Brand Arrested For Throwing an iPhone Through a Window

Get him to the slammer!

According to TMZ, Russell Brand turned himself in to the New Orleans police on Thursday, three days after he took a photographer’s iPhone and threw it through a law firm's window.

Russell agreed to pay for the window, and the photographer got his phone back, but a warrant was still issued for the British comedian’s arrest.

Russell wasn’t exactly feeling contrite in the immediate aftermath of the incident, tweeting, “Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory.”

Now that’s irreverent.
