Cue the fireworks! Russell Brand and Katy Perry are going to be together... forever.

The British funnyman, who’s been married to the Teenage Dream singer for a little over a year, addressed the wave of divorce rumors that swept Twitter earlier this week on The Ellen DeGeneres show today.

"I'm married to Katy,” he assured Ellen (via Us Weekly). “Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge."

“I've treated the whole Internet now like it's a wicked little liar,” he added. “Yeah. I am really happily married."

And if there really is trouble in paradise, he and Katy probably wouldn’t have gone on this adorable tattoo parlor date. Getting inked together? Now that’s love.

The oddball twosome, who began dating shortly after the 2009 MTV VMAs, tied the knot last October in a lavish ceremony in India.
