In case you missed the news, the delayed release of Ryan Gosling’s Gangster Squad means a very sad thing for Hollywood and our hearts alike: We won’t be seeing any of Ryan in theaters until 2013.

But just because he won’t be on the big screen, that doesn’t mean we won’t be keeping our eyes peeled for sightings the hunky actor elsewhere. Case in point — JFK International Airport, where we spotted the 31-year-old arriving from New Orleans on Saturday, August 4.

Going cool and casual in a chest-baring tee from Alternative Apparel and beat-up black boots, Ryan was looking as hot as ever (when does he not?) as he shielded tired eyes with a pair of sexy aviator shades.

Thankfully, we can expect to see more of Ryan soon — even if girlfriend Eva Mendes will be by his side. The duo are slated to appear at the Toronto International Film Festival at the beginning of September, alongside fellow hotties Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bradley Cooper, and Javier Bardem. Cue our fainting hearts.
