Ryan Gosling Was the Most Adorable, Most Polite 12-Year-Old Ever (VIDEO)

A year after Ryan Gosling wowed crowds at a Mormon talent show with his dance moves, he scored a spot on The Mickey Mouse Club. The Hollywood Reporter has a video of the then-12-year-old speaking to a reporter about his big break, and it proves the Gos always had the Canadian charm. 

“You have to wear cool clothes, and you have to have a lot of fun,” Ryan told the reporter interviewing him of his role on The Mickey Mouse Club. Between his denim button-down, the tie, and the well-gelled hair, Ryan already had the part of hip ’90s kid down.

According to the tween, the audition process couldn’t have been better. “The people of Disney are so incredibly amazing. They are so nice. They treated us like we were kings and queens,” said Ryan. (We’re pretty sure the reporter wanted to take Ryan home and adopt him at this point.)
