Russell Brand... jailbird? The saucy British comedian found himself stuck in the slammer on Thursday, March 15, after he was arrested in New Orleans for throwing photographer’s iPhone through an office window.

Russell turned himself in on Thursday after police issued a warrant for his arrest — but how much time did Katy Perry’s ex actually spend locked up?

Not very much, apparently! Splash News reports that Russell was only locked up for about an hour. He posted a $5,000 bond and was released that same afternoon.

Just hours later, a video on TMZ shows Russell hitting the town for a night of partying in New Orleans. In the video, Russell walks through the French Quarter with a female companion.

No need to let a little thing like prison slow you down!
