She needs to take care of some other stuff first, mmm-kay?

Selena Gomez has been dating Justin Bieber for well over a year now, but this 20-year-old singer and actress is far from ready to settle down with her 18-year-old man.

Cover girl Selena tells the September 2012 issue of Teen Vogue, "Marriage and all that other stuff I think will happen once I feel accomplished in every other aspect of my life."

Translation: For those waiting for an engagement announcement à la Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus, don’t hold your breath.

"I don't take anything in my personal life too seriously,” she adds. “I have great friends and a solid group of people I love. I feel like everything else will come organically."

As for what she’d like to accomplish, Selena tells the magazine that her main goal is to pull away from her squeaky-clean Disney image and establish herself as a serious actress. “I want to create a whole different persona when it comes to acting,” she reveals.

Spring Breakers, her upcoming indie co-starring Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine, and James Franco, is an edgy first step. After all, it doesn’t get more dark and twisted than James Franco sporting cornrows.
