Shia LaBeouf won't be transforming into a Broadway star anytime soon.
Shia has dropped out of starring in the Broadway play Orphans due to "creative differences," according to the L.A. Times.
The play is still set to begin previews on March 19, with Alec Baldwin also starring in it.
This was supposed to be the 26-year-old Transformers star's Broadway debut. No actor has yet been announced as his replacement in the play about a powerful man who's kidnapped by two brothers.
This is just the latest odd decision Shia has made, leading some to wonder whether he's burning bridges in the entertainment industry.
Case in point: Shia will apparently be having real sex in his upcoming film Nymphomaniac, he dropped acid for a different film, and he publicly took potshots at former mentor Steven Spielberg. Yeesh.
This is just the latest hole Shia will have to dig his way out of. (Get it — "hole"? Because he was in Holes?)
