Right now, Ryan Lochte is off at the 2012 London Olympics bringing home multiple medals for the U.S. swim team. But not long ago, the 27-year-old New Yorker was just another uncle spending a bit of quality time with his little nephew.

Back in May, Ryan posted this adorable TwitPic of himself and his nephew, Zaydin, hangin’ out together on the couch.

“While I play video games with my brother[,] zaydin decides to take a nap. I might have to kidnap him,” Ryan wrote.

So far, Ryan has already brought home both a gold and a silver medal for the U.S. at the 2012 games. Throughout his career, he’s won eight medals overall: four gold, two silver, and two bronze. Plus, let’s not forget that infamous grill of his. That has to count as, like, an honorary silver medal or something, right?
