Tom Cruise Has “No Limit” on His Contact With Suri: Report

Katie Holmes has tried her hardest to shelter her 6-year-old daughter, Suri, from the drama surrounding her divorce from Tom Cruise, but there’s only so much trips to the zoo and ice cream cones can do.

Though Katie’s ex hasn’t seen his youngest child since Katie filed for divorce last month, RadarOnline is reporting that the Mission Impossible actor has been in contact with his little girl, via video chat.

A source close to Radar explains, “It's all part of the divorce settlement that Tom be allowed to video chat with Suri. Likewise, when Suri is with Tom, Katie can video chat with her.”

The frequent contact Suri has with Tom is apparently being used as a mechanism to help her deal with her parents’ sudden split. “Tom and Suri have been video chatting and Tom just lights up when her face appears on the computer screen. Tom and Suri also communicate on the telephone and there is no limit on the contact for either parent,” the source continues.

According to Tom’s lawyer, Bert Fields, the actor will also get to see his daughter — who’ll reportedly start Catholic school in New York City this fall — very soon.

“Tom will be seeing Suri very soon. I don't know exactly when that will be, and I couldn't tell you, but I do know it will be very soon. Tom loves his Suri very, very much, as he does his other two children. Tom is a family man and dedicated to his children. They are the center of his world,” Fields said in a statement.
