Tom Cruise Heads to London to "Kill" Aliens With Emily Blunt

The Beatles thought all we needed was love, but it turns out All You Need Is Kill. That's the name of a Japanese sci-fi novel being adapted for the screen by director Doug Liman. Tom Cruise will star as a soldier fighting a war against an alien threat. He'll be forced to relive the last day before he dies over and over, Groundhog Day-style. The action film also stars Emily Blunt.

According to Deadline, Tom has landed in London to start prepping the film. He just finished shooting Oblivion in Louisiana and Iceland and in between he spent some time with his daughter, Suri, in New York.

Oh and we hear he's getting a divorce from Katie Holmes, courtesy of a massive blindside. (Maybe that’s why he’s more into killing than loving at this point?) Maybe it's good that Tom’s running off to London. Perhaps he can enjoy the Olympics while he's there.
