With the 2012 Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, and the People’s Choice Awards behind us, it’s time to count down the days to the 84th Academy Awards — filmdom’s most prestigious awards show of the year.
This year, the Oscars will air this Sunday, February 26, 2012, at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT on ABC.
Billy Crystal is set to host for the ninth time, and Brian Grazer will produce the show. The original emcee, Tower Heist star Eddie Murphy, dropped out after Brett Ratner (Tower Heist’s producer) resigned from producing amid controversy over his use of a homophobic slur.
