When Does Big Brother Start in 2013?
Let us guess: You’ve watched all 14 seasons of Big Brother, Julie Chen is totally your homegirl, and right now life is feeling a little empty without your favorite dramalicious reality show? Well, cheer up, reality show junkies! Big Brother 15 is within sight!
Big Brother will premiere on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Yes, that’s so soon!
This is the first time in Big Brother history that a season will begin before July — if you overlook that bizarre spring season that aired in 2008. The show will run through the rest of the summer on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights. (This is a change from last season, when the show aired on Thursday nights instead of Tuesday.)
We hear that this season will also be the first to be filmed and broadcast in high-definition. (Welcome to the 21st century, BB!)
Think you have what it takes to outwit the other HouseGuests and stare down the Chenbot? Casting for the 15th go-round is still in progress! You have until May 11 to submit your application.
All it takes is a biographical video, a headshot, and an application. (We hear you powering up your webcams and iPhone cameras now!)
We know our readers are super-creative, charming, and charismatic — so we expect to some of you in the Big Brother house. And you know that there’s lots of money on the line — oh, just $500,000! That’s a huge paycheck for a few months’ “work.”
Alternatively, you can attend one of the open calls at cities around the United States. You just have to be a U.S. citizen above the age of 21, and it doesn’t matter if you’ve applied before.
See you on CBS in July, Wetpaint readers!
