Now 10 years out from her University of New York days, Felicity’s Keri Russell is trading in the Noel-Ben love triangle for an arranged marriage.
Keri is starring opposite Matthew Rhys (Brothers and Sisters) in FX’s new Cold War-era drama The Americans, about two Russian spies posing as husband and wife — Elizabeth and Philip Jennings — in suburban D.C. in the early ’80s.
Spoiler alert: The Communists lose. But that isn’t going to stop the KGB couple from working their covert agenda stateside. If executive producer Joel Fields is to be believed, The Americans will have us sympathizing with the other guys beginning Wednesday, January 30 at 10/9c on FX. (Just don’t tell McCarthy.)
