UPDATE: On January 14, palace officials confirmed that the baby is due in July 2013.

Original story:

When can we expect to see the most hotly anticipated baby of 2013? (Sorry, Holly Madison’s unborn daughter and any other famous babies due next year — royalty trumps celebrity.)

Kate Middleton hasn’t revealed an official due date, though gossip outlets have thrown out May, June, and July as strong possibilities, especially since Kate was already sticking to water on her and Prince William’s royal tour of Asia in September.

Kate’s friend Jessica Hay the same friend who spilled that the couple was primed to share “wonderful, happy news” in December, before the palace made the official pregnancy announcement tells Life & Style that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge conceived at the end of September’s royal tour. That would make Kate about seven or eight weeks along, which would place her due date toward the end of June or early July.

Couched in the happy news of Kate’s pregnancy was the reveal that she’d been hospitalized with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a condition that manifests as acute morning sickness. According to the American Pregnancy Association, the symptoms typically appear between four and six weeks, and then peak between nine and 13 weeks. Eight weeks would put her toward the middle of that range.

In other words, is Jessica Hay spot on?
