Which Hot Leading Man Has Been Cast in the Newest Nicholas Sparks Film?
Josh Duhamel is about to transform into a bonafide star.
It has been announced that Josh will star opposite Julianne Hough in Safe Haven, an upcoming film adaptation of the 2010 novel by sob-meister Nicholas Sparks. Translation: Get your hankies ready.
Josh has co-starred in the Transformers franchise but is best known for comedies like New Year's Eve and When in Rome, so this will finally be a chance for him to show off his acting chops in a serious romantic role. And true, Josh Duhamel is no Ryan Gosling — who starred in the 2004 adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' The Notebook — but who is?
According to the film's press release, Josh will play a small-town widower with two children and "dark secrets." Perhaps one of his dark secrets is that he spends his free time fighting robots that turn into cars?
