We’re getting pretty nostalgic for the beefcake Matthew McConaughey of yore.
The 43-year-old actor is looking less surfer dude and more starving artist these days after shedding nearly 40 pounds from his 6-foot, 180-pound frame to play a man suffering from AIDS in the movie The Dallas Buyers Club.
As if his new gaunt physique isn’t gnarly enough, Matthew donned a little fake blood while shooting a scene in New Orleans on November 12.
We hope production moves along in a timely fashion so that Matthew can recapture the glory of his beach-ready days. Our eyes hunger for some McMancandy.
