Will Kristen Wiig Play Steve Carell's Love Interest in Anchorman 2?

It sounds like Steve Carell's character in Anchorman might love a lot more than just lamp.

Kristen Wiig is reportedly in talks to join the cast of the sequel, Anchorman: The Legend Continues, according to The Wrap.

Kristen would play the love interest for the not-exactly-intellectual character Brick, played by Steve Carell.

After her breakout role in Bridesmaids, Kristen has been on fire! Her next film, Imogene, co-starring Glee's Darren Criss, opens in theaters next year.

We are so excited about this news that we feel trapped in a glass case of emotion — but in a good way.
