  • Emmys 2012 Upset: Homeland Beats Mad Men for Best Drama

    This was not Mad Men's year.

    Not only was the acclaimed series once again shut out of the acting categories, but for the first time in its run it lost out on Outstanding Drama Series during the 2012 Emmys.

    If Mad Men had won, it would have become the most honored drama in Emmy history. However, Showtime's freshmen thriller, Homeland, put an end to that dream (at least for this year).
