George Clooney was arrested outside the Sudanese Embassy in Washington, D.C. on March 16, 2012. Joined by his father, Nick Clooney, George rallied with United to End Genocide, the Enough Campaign, and Amnesty International to call upon the United States and world leaders to stop the violence and starvation in the South Sudan.

George was released from police custody shortly after, when he “posted and forfeited” a $100 bond.
