Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cameron James
Already known for starring on six seasons of the sci-fi comedy 3rd Rock From the Sun, Joseph Gordon-Levitt achieved teen heartthrob status with 10 Things. To prove he was more than just a pretty face, Joe took on gritty roles in indie dramas such as Mysterious Skin and Brick, both of which played at worldwide festivals to critical acclaim.
Over the last few years, Joe’s fame has continued to reach new heights. His resume includes hugely successful movies such as (500) Days of Summer, The Dark Knight Rises, and Looper, as well as the Oscar-winning films Inception and Lincoln. Joe made his feature-length writing/directorial debut with Don Jon’s Addiction, a comedy that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2013.
Commonly referred to as the Thinking Girl’s Heartthrob, Joe attended Columbia University, where he studied history, literature, and French poetry. After dropping out in 2004, JGL and his brother Dan founded the online production company hitRECord, which strives to bring people together through shared art. Through this collaboration, Joe and his company have released two books, a DVD, and an album.
Sadly, Joe’s brother, a professional fire spinner and flow arts instructor, passed away in October 2010.
