The aftermath: The Keeping Up With the Kardashians diva sued Vivid Entertainment, the company that released the tape under the appropriately dramatic title Kim Kardashian: Superstar, in February 2007, and she settled two months later for a cool $5 million.
In August 2011, an “anonymous” buyer offered Vivid $20 million for rights to the tape, but Vivid turned ‘em down. Why? The sexy vid that made Kim K. mega-famous has to be worth way more than that.
In late September 2012 it came out that Kanye West, Kim’s boyfriend, has a couple tapes of his own to worry about, both shot several years ago. Sources tell TMZ that in addition to the video of Kanye and an 18-year-old Kim Kardashian look-alike, he stars in another video with a different ex.
