Ian: In the Season 1 finale, a mysterious figure in black shoves creepy Ian (Ryan Merriman) off a bell tower as he’s chasing Spencer (Troian Bellisario) — causing him to die by hanging. Ian’s body disappears, only to later show up in a barn. Still dead. Ian may have killed Alison (Sasha Pieterse), but he won’t be the one to set the record straight.

Maya: Emily (Shay Mitchell) loses her first ladylove when Maya’s (Bianca Lawson) body is found in Em’s backyard in the Season 2 finale. It turns out Maya’s stalker ex, a guy named Lyndon James who was posing as her cousin Nate, did the dastardly deed.

Garrett: We don’t yet know the who or the why of it, but good cop/bad cop Garrett (Yani Gellman) ends up dead — in a box alongside Aria (Lucy Hale); talk about twisted! — in Season 3’s Halloween episode, “This Is a Dark Ride.” We had no idea how dark a ride it would be.
