For two seasons, Sarah Hyland played Maddie Healy, the rebellious teenage daughter of Wendy (Brooke Shields) on Lipstick Jungle. When NBC opted not to pick up the series for a third season in 2009, Sarah was left jobless. Not for long, though. ABC soon enlisted her to join another fictional fam as Haley Dunphy on Modern Family. Fortunately for her (and us!), the show has been a critical and financial success.
