R&B goddess Alicia Keys may have released a song entitled “Rock Wit U,” but that wasn’t for lack of spelling skills. The singer/songwriter graduated high school at the age of 16, and was the class valedictorian, no less! Though she was accepted to the prestigious Columbia University, Alicia gave up her scholarship to sign a deal with Columbia Records. (Hey, she keeps things consistent!)

While Alicia made a bold move dropping out of college, it’s clearly worked out. She’s become one of the most commercially successful recording artists of the past decade.
