Despite being a sharp guy with an amazing body, Ben Affleck failed to impress as Matt Murdock — the blind vigilante lawyer who can “see” via sonic vibrations — in the widely panned 2003 flick Daredevil. But it wasn’t all bad: Ben met Jennifer Garner, his future wife and baby-mama, on set. In a simply twisted twist of fate, she played his on-screen love interest, Elektra, a kick-ass ninja assassin who mistakenly targets Matt as her father’s killer.

While Ben did not dare reprise his not-so-super role, Jennifer made the ill-advised decision to head back to the big screen in the 2005 spin-off Elektra.
