Revolution (NBC)
What if one day everything powered by electricity just turned off? That’s the central question posed in Revolution, a Lost-style adventure series that takes place 15 years after a permanent global blackout. The main character is Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos), a fearless young woman who’s been sent on a cross-country quest by her father (Billy Burke) to save the only family she has left, but her journey is riddled with obstacles. Without technological luxuries, society has collapsed — bringing out the best and worst in people. Produced by JJ Abrams, with a pilot directed by Iron Man’s Jon Favreau, Revolution is an epic “What if?” that looks to be action-packed and thought-provoking.

Revolution premieres Monday, September 17 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
