2012-2013 TV Preview: 26 New Dramas

When serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) escapes from death row in this new thriller from Vampire Diaries executive producer Kevin Williamson, the FBI calls on former agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) to help with the case. Having captured Carroll nine years ago, Hardy is indispensable; however, he’s also damaged — both physically and mentally — from his previous pursuit of the sociopath.

Hardy soon discovers that Carroll’s agenda is far more insidious than anyone had imagined: The notorious ladykiller has activated a terrifying following — a network of serial killers.
