2012 MTV Movie Awards, Miley Cyrus Is Engaged, Roberto Martinez May Be the Next Bachelor: Week in Review, 6/8

The most important awards were handed out to Hollywood royalty last weekend — no, not the Oscar statuettes... the giant golden popcorn trophies, of course! The MTV Movie Awards celebrated many Hunger Games performances, including Jennifer Lawrence’s and Josh Hutcherson’s for Best Female and Male, while The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 snagged both Movie of the Year and the pivotal Best Kiss honor (for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who was sadly not in the house).

The night got off to a raunchy start with an unforgiving monologue from host Russell Brand, and it was filled with the typical mix of countless awesome moments and fashion hits and disasters. If you happened to miss the show, MTV is bound to replay it several hundred times this month.
