AMA 2012: Most Outrageous Red Carpet Looks (PHOTOS)

Honestly, Cyndi Lauper looks pretty tame compared to other looks she's shown off over the years. We're just a little confused about how this came together. 

Here's a rough timeline: Cyndi was mid-bang trim when there was a fire in her tights and the stripes started melting into one thick segment. After her skirt was burned up, she pulled the tablecloth off a neighboring Christmas display and used it to tame the flames. Noticing its synthetic fabric had melded with her jacket, she said "Hey, I'm Cyndi Lauper" and went with it.
